FARM: Inmaculada Farms
Behind the production of Inmaculada Coffee Farms lies a rich legacy intertwined with the illustrious history of the Holguín-Ramos family. With deep roots in the sugar cane and oil palm industry, the family's journey took a transformative turn in 2010 when they resolved to embark on a specialty coffee project. Motivated by a profound desire to give back to their community in Pichindé and honor over nine decades of affection and dedication, "Inmaculada Coffee Farms" emerged as a testament to their enduring commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Located amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Colombia, Inmaculada Coffee Farms stands as a beacon of quality and tradition in the heart of the coffee-growing region. Nestled within the lush greenery and fertile soil of this South American paradise, the farms embody a harmonious blend of nature's bounty and human ingenuity. Blessed with ideal growing conditions and a rich cultural heritage, the region surrounding Inmaculada Coffee Farms teems with life and vitality, fostering the growth of some of the world's finest coffee varietals.
During our visit to Colombia this year, we had the incredible opportunity to explore El Vergel farm and meet the Bayter family, who are the proud owners.
Notably, we established a direct relationship with Shady Bayter, the owner of the Forest company, which imports coffee to Europe.
Thanks to this special connection, we were able to bring this unique Colombian coffee directly to our roastery. It's a testament to the power of personal connections and the journey of our coffee from farm to cup.
